Hmmm, as I recall, the Talosians warned that one day humans would learn and acquire their telepathic abilities. Perhaps these talents could be PV's analog to the dark side of the force.

Now maybe you could do a "What if Star Wars had Star Trek shield technology?" That way a single A-Wing on a kamikaze run couldn't destroy an Executor class destroyer, and a Death Star blast would only throw people out of their chairs. :laughing:
